    Description

    Supplier Rate Readiness Specialist

    Company:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Supplier Rate Readiness Specialist (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Everett, Washington.

    The statement of work will require and include knowledge of advanced supply chain principles with detail to supplier performance and overall readiness to support increases in production rates. Responsibilities will include data analysis, engagement with Procurement Agents and leadership with an emphasis on proactive risk mitigation planning.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Applies best practices and standard work to support Operations Procurement Agents managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS)

    • Analyzes supply chain readiness data for production system risk

    • Provides peer review of supplier readiness plans   

    • Reduces supplier performance risk to current and future production rates

    • Provides strategies to align with program needs and supply base capabilities

    • Partners with Business Operations and Enterprise Supply Chain Readiness to drive functional excellence for rate assessment and mitigation processes

    • Defines and improves standard work

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Export Control Requirement:

    This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 4+ years of experience with suppliers or supplier management

    • 4+ years of experience within the supply chain or procurement field

    • 2+ years managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS)

    • Able and willing to travel up to 15% domestically

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Level 4: 7+ years of experience with suppliers or supplier management

    • 7+ years of experience within the supply chain or procurement field

    • 4+ years managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS)

    • Bachelor's degree

    • 3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams

    • 1+ years within fabrication/manufacturing, quality, and/or industrial engineering

    • Experience in a role with strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Summary Pay Range:

    Level 3: $106,250 - $143,750

    Level 4: $130,050 - $175,950
