    Description

    This position may require 30% travel.

    Main Duties:

    • Work

    Main Responsibilities:

    Analyze & validate the reported internal supplier issues.

    Determine cause & responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications & measuring parts.

    Notify suppliers, initiate containment, update internal systems & generate/ follow up on corrective actions.

    Supplier management skills to improve OTD and quality performance.

    Drill down onto root causes and help suppliers with process reliability/improvements. Perform virtual & onsite supplier audits as needed.

    Address products' paperwork issues with suppliers & maintain the systems.

    Maintain & generate reports/charts for metrics utilizing data mining from various support systems.

    Accuracy, attention to details & appropriate turnaround time in all internal & external communication.

    Experience in advancing a Zero-Defect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis, PFMEA,8D corrective action, Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

    Must Have Requirements:

    Experience in fabricate mechanical products, Aluminum magnesium casting foundry etc.

    Interpret blueprints, specifications & work instructions.

    Hands-on expertise in measurement methods & tools.

    Root cause analysis / problem solving.

    Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) Supplier quality audit experience.
