    Title: Supplier Quality Engineer - Casting & Machining
    Location: Oshkosh, WI
    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with strong expertise in casting and machining processes, particularly aluminum castings. This role will work closely with suppliers to drive quality improvements, resolve production issues, support new product launches, and ensure supplier process capability and quality performance.

    The position requires regular onsite supplier engagement and frequent travel to supplier facilities within and outside the U.S.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage APQP, PPAP, and engineering change activities with suppliers.
    • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and process capability reviews.
    • Drive CAPA, 8D, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
    • Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and supplier teams.

    Technical Skills

    • Strong experience with aluminum HPDC and LPDC casting.
    • Knowledge of sand casting and other casting processes.
    • Hands-on experience with machining of engineered components.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
    • Experience with supplier quality tools and structured problem-solving.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
    • 7 10+ years of relevant quality/manufacturing experience.
    • Proven experience in supplier quality management.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within and outside the U.S.
