    Description

    Ready to Own Quality Outcomes?

    Direct-hire, salaried opportunity on a day-based schedule with an automotive manufacturer. If you love turning variation into control and findings into fixes, this role is for you.

    What will you do?

    • Lead investigations when defects or escapes occur—driving 8D-based corrective actions to closure.
    • Keep control plans current and effective; verify in-process and final inspections; enforce quality procedures.
    • Dive into quality metrics (including SPC) to pinpoint improvement opportunities and reduce risk.
    • Partner across the supply chain and plant operations to prepare for and support customer, supplier, and internal audits.
    • Review and approve product release packages, deviations, and rework documentation.
    • Exercise stop-production authority whenever safety or quality is at stake.

    What do you need to be successful?

    • ISO9001 manufacturing Quality Engineering experience.
    • Fluency with 8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP.
    • Clear, concise communicator with strong analytical problem-solving skill.
