Summary:

The Supplier Onboarding & Maintenance Specialist supports supplier setup, maintenance, and onboarding activities related to business projects and system enhancements. This role serves as a key resource for managing complex requests, resolving escalations, maintaining supplier data integrity, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works independently, prioritizes effectively, and collaborates across multiple functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects and system changes.

• Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding activities and ensure suppliers are enabled for transactions in Ariba.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for supplier processes, responding to complex inquiries from internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Independently manage and resolve escalated requests.

• Analyze process risks and develop procedures, documentation, and training materials to improve team performance.

• Support system cleanup initiatives, including supplier record maintenance and data quality improvements.

• Research and validate supplier information to ensure an accurate system of record.

• Partner with Ariba, Procurement, Sourcing & Contracts, Accounts Payable, Enabling Capabilities, Business Groups, and supplier contacts to support successful onboarding and ongoing supplier maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Experience in supplier onboarding, supplier maintenance, procurement operations, or related functions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience managing escalations and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency with supplier management systems; Ariba experience preferred.
