    Job Description:

    Seminole Hard Rock Support Services is committed to strengthening supplier diversity, expanding qualified business participation, and improving visibility into spend with Minority, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran, Tribal, and Local Business Enterprises. Establishing a dedicated corporate role focused on business inclusion and community engagement will support enterprise-wide procurement objectives by helping diverse and local suppliers access opportunities, navigate registration and certification requirements, and participate more effectively in sourcing activity across properties and shared services. This position will serve as a centralized resource for outreach, vendor readiness, spend tracking, reporting, and recommendations that advance business inclusion while supporting compliance, transparency, and brand standards.

    Essential Functions

    • Develop and maintain relationships with diverse, Tribal, local, and community-based business organizations across key operating markets.
    • Assist vendors with corporate registration, onboarding requirements, and access to appropriate sourcing opportunities.
    • Guide businesses through applicable certification processes to qualify as Minority, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran, Tribal, or Local Business Enterprises.
    • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and property stakeholders to support supplier inclusion goals and sourcing strategies.
    • Participate in spend categorization and track supplier spend by business classification, category, property, and enterprise initiative.
    • Identify opportunities to increase qualified participation from diverse, Tribal, and local suppliers while maintaining service, quality, compliance, and brand standards.
    • Provide reporting, recommendations, and executive-ready updates on outreach activity, supplier readiness, participation levels, and spend performance.

    Corporate and Community Engagement

    • Coordinate informational sessions, supplier outreach events, and business readiness forums in key markets where the organization operates or is expanding.
    • Build partnerships with chambers of commerce, Tribal business organizations, minority business councils, women's business organizations, veteran business groups, and local advocacy organizations.
    • Maintain regular communication with business and community stakeholders through meetings, supplier updates, and targeted outreach.
    • Gather feedback from suppliers and stakeholders to improve access, readiness, communication, and participation in corporate sourcing opportunities.

    Vendor Registration and Certification Guidance

    • Provide step-by-step support for corporate vendor registration and supplier onboarding processes.
    • Develop clear guides, checklists, and readiness materials to help suppliers understand registration, insurance, compliance, and certification requirements.
    • Host workshops or information sessions on qualifying as Minority, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran, Tribal, or Local Business Enterprises.
    • Offer targeted assistance to suppliers that need additional support navigating corporate requirements or identifying appropriate business opportunities.

    Spend Tracking and Reporting

    • Utilize available procurement, finance, or reporting systems to monitor supplier spend by business classification, category, property, and enterprise initiative.
    • Create recurring reports on spend distribution, participation trends, vendor readiness, outreach activity, and opportunity pipelines.
    • Provide updates to Procurement leadership, executive stakeholders, and applicable governance groups to support transparency and informed decision-making.

    Supplier Inclusion Strategy and Recommendations

    • Analyze spend data, sourcing activity, supplier feedback, and market availability to identify participation gaps and development opportunities.
    • Recommend strategies to increase qualified diverse, Tribal, and local supplier participation in appropriate categories.
    • Create structured pathways for suppliers to understand requirements, access opportunities, and become more competitive for sourcing activity.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years combined experience in procurement, supplier diversity, vendor management, community engagement, or business development.
    • Working knowledge of purchasing policies, sourcing practices, supplier onboarding, and vendor compliance requirements.
    • Understanding of hospitality, gaming, entertainment, corporate support services, or other highly regulated business environments.
    • Knowledge of certification processes for Minority, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran, Tribal, and Local Business Enterprises.
    • Strong relationship-building, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to track, analyze, summarize, and report supplier participation and spend data for leadership review.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    • Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
    • Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
    • Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to vendor partners and other employees of the organization.
    • Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Ability to move throughout the building (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
    • Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
    • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
    • Ability to occasionally move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
