GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program that targets historically difficult courses. The SI is a current college student or recent college graduate who has taken the class equivalent before and excelled in the course. The SI should be prepared to share with students how to effectively study for the course. The SI attends the same class for each class session, taking notes and listening closely to the professor.
