This position is located at the 161st Air Refueling Wing in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and/or flight chief, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Security Forces Flight.

Military Grades: SSgt/E-5 to MSgt/E-7
Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or able to obtain 3P0X1
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
Education
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

Ability to recognizes and takes action to correct situations posing a threat to the health or safety of subordinates
Meets with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise.
Ability to apprehension and detention which entails carrying a firearm, operating Security Forces vehicles and equipment, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations on a military installation.
Ability to enforces weapons systems security standards, traffic rules and regulations, including those related to speed, reckless and drunken driving. Stops violators, notifies them of the traffic offense committed, and issues armed forces traffic tickets and DoD violation notices as appropriate.
