Role Overview:
As Supervisory PM&R Physician and Service Chief, you will provide both clinical care and administrative leadership to the PM&R team. You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation services while supervising and mentoring staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Perform comprehensive physiatric evaluations, functional assessments, and rehabilitation planning
- Diagnose and manage acute/chronic musculoskeletal and pain conditions using evidence-based, non-surgical approaches
- Provide multimodal chronic pain management and opioid stewardship
- Order/interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., X-ray, MRI, EMG/NCS, ultrasound) and perform musculoskeletal/interventional pain procedures within privileges
- Collaborate with PT, OT, behavioral health, social work, pharmacy and other specialties
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings, provide in-service training/consults, and deliver care via in-person and telehealth modalities
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and complete additional clinical duties as assigned
Supervisory & Administrative Duties:
- Supervise, guide, and clinically oversee PM&R staff
- Manage clinic operations, scheduling, and access to care across all sites
- Participate in committee meetings, quality/process improvement, and compliance activities
- Contribute to policy/protocol development and service expansion initiatives
- Complete other administrative or non-clinical duties as assigned
