    Supervisory Clerical

    Description

    The newly established DOJ National Fraud Division requires a Clerical Supervisor to manage a service center
    dedicated primarily to scanning hard copy evidence or printing a high volume of pages into organized binders. The
    Clerical Supervisor will manage a staff with expertise running large scan/print jobs of light to heavy litigation using
    high powered machines (at least 3 multipurpose machines and 2 desktop scanners).

    Responsibilities

    Directs and supervises clerical staff in performing support functions such as photocopying, courier/delivery
    services, document retrieval, faxing information, etc. Performs quality control and ensures timely delivery of all
    specified deliverables. Tracks progress of all clerical activities and reports status to appropriate Contractor
    manager. Arranges routine and emergency service and maintenance of office equipment. Oversee the
    organization and maintenance of correspondence files. Will supervise the following tasks:
    " Operate binding and cutting equipment (i.e. hole press, velo binder, etc.) that may be needed in the
    service center to bind pages, hole punch, resize paper, etc.
    " Perform light maintenance on the equipment in the service center to ensure operations always run
    smoothly and the equipment is regularly cleaned and serviced.
    " Ensure the service center is ready stocked with all necessary items including paper, colored paper, hole
    punched paper, binders of various sizes, clips, staples, bands, toner, tabs, labels, etc.
    " Provide expert-level services in operating scanning and printing machines (Canon or Xerox).
    " Maintain equipment and handle service calls as required.
    " Maintain an inventory of all supplies (toner, binders, tabs, paper, etc.)
    " Scan as many as 12,000 pages and print as many as 15,000 pages a week.
    " Label, bind and assemble exhibits and demonstratives.
    " Replace toner in both the dedicated Service Center locations and possibly some floor machines.

    Basic Qualifications

    " Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephone
    systems, fax machines, numbering and binding equipment, etc.
    " Must be able to write and print clearly and have typing/keyboarding skills.
    " Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
    " Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete tasks correctly (e.g. where
    instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective). Attention to detail is very
    important.
    " Ability to work well in a team environment and ability to read and follow instructions is very important.
    " Must be able to prioritize and manage work for several people.
    " High school diploma or GED required.
    " Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
    " Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
    Desired Qualifications
    " Experience in automated litigation support
    " Hands-on experience in a Windows office automation environment such as JCON
    " Trial support experience a plus
    " Undergraduate degree preferred
    " Prior Supervisory experience is a plus
    3 Place of Performance
    The principal place of performance (hereafter known as Performance Site(s) ) shall be at:
    a. Customer s facility in Washington, DC at FRD offices. Primary duty stations will likely include 1331 F Street
    NW and 145 N Street NE (2CON).
    If overtime is needed, overtime shall only be performed with the prior approval of the COR and in accordance
    with contractor procedures.
    3.1. Workdays and Work Hours
    Each position is considered full-time, which is 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day. The contractor must work the 8
    hours/day, between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, ET; the proposed schedule must receive prior approval
    and the work schedule is expected to be the same as the supported office personnel. During their core hours
    shift, all staff must be available via MS Teams and for phone calls; these are the preferred methods of
    communication. In addition, due to the demands of active litigation, overtime hours will be occasionally necessary
    for time-sensitive projects. If overtime is needed, overtime shall only be performed with the prior approval of the
    DOJ COR and Leidos in accordance with contractor procedures.
