Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse ensuring the following of safety operating proceduresSchedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facilityAllocate necessary space for stock rotationAssist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss controlOversee shipping and receiving functions as applicableSecure company assetsManage within labor and OPEX budgetPerforms other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) required andBachelor's Degree preferred2+ years warehouse/inventory experience required2+ years supervising warehouse staff requiredExperience managing budget requiredProficient with Microsoft Windows and Office programsProficient with SAP or similar MRP programsAble to lead front-line employees effectively - may be in a unionized environmentAble to handle conflictAbility to operate a manual/powered pallet jack requiredAbility lift product (up to 50lb) frequently and repetitively required
