Supervisor Transportation LIFE

The Transportation Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of Transportation Coordinators, LIFE Drivers, contracted transportation vendors, fleet operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, transportation safety programs, and transportation performance metrics. The position serves as the primary transportation subject matter expert and collaborates closely with Leadership, the IDT, and vendor partners to ensure transportation services support participant care and organizational goals.

Summary:

Within the context of the Interdisciplinary Team setting, the Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of transportation operations across all Catholic Health LIFE locations. The Transportation Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of Transportation Coordinators, LIFE Drivers, contracted transportation vendors, fleet operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, transportation safety programs, and transportation performance metrics.

The Transportation Supervisor develops operational standards, monitors departmental performance, ensures compliance with CMS PACE regulations and organizational policies, and promotes safe, efficient, participant-centered transportation services. The position serves as the primary transportation subject matter expert and collaborates closely with Leadership, the IDT, and vendor partners to ensure transportation services support participant care and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Education:

• Associates Degree required
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years of transportation, logistics, scheduling, healthcare operations, or related experience required.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience managing staff schedules, performance, and productivity preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working with frail elderly populations, PACE programs, healthcare transportation, or community-based services preferred.
• Experience overseeing contracted vendors and service agreements preferred.
• Experience utilizing transportation scheduling or routing software preferred.

• Ability to inspect vehicles and transportation operations.
• Ability to respond to transportation incidents and emergencies.
