Salary: $65,000$80,000 per year
Schedule: MondayFriday, full-time, on-site
A growing orthopedic and spine practice is seeking a
Supervisor, Surgical Verification & Authorization to lead its verification and authorization teams. This hands-on leadership role focuses on ensuring surgical cases are properly verified, authorized, and ready for surgery while preventing unnecessary delays and cancellations.
Responsibilities:- Lead, train, and supervise verification and authorization staff.
- Oversee insurance verification, benefits, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications.
- Monitor team performance, accuracy, and turnaround times.
- Resolve complex insurance and authorization issues.
- Identify potential surgical delays and coordinate with providers and internal teams.
- Improve workflows, documentation, and quality standards.
Requirements:- 5+ years of management experience required.
- Strong surgical operations background required.
- Knowledge of surgical insurance verification and authorizations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Out-of-network experience preferred.
