Lead the Team That Keeps Patient Care Moving

Orlando Health is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations to lead daily supply chain operations within our warehouse and procedural service areas. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing inventory management, distribution, staff supervision, and operational excellence to ensure clinicians have the supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

As the Supervisor of Supply Chain Operations, you will:

  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the supply chain warehouse and/or procedural inventory areas.
  • Oversee inventory levels, stocking accuracy, distributor deliveries, and replenishment processes.
  • Coordinate annual physical inventories, monthly cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory performance and ensure supplies are available to support patient care and scheduled procedures.
  • Manage product recalls, vendor returns, loaned inventory, and tissue tracking processes.
  • Partner with clinical leaders to optimize inventory practices and improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and clinical departments.
  • Supervise receiving, distribution, replenishment, and inventory accuracy across assigned locations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records, par levels, labeling, and organization of storage areas.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Corporate teams regarding item activations, contracts, and Epic item integrity.
  • Monitor vendor compliance and maintain credentialing standards.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyze inventory trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and exceptional customer service.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Eight (8) years of warehouse, inventory management, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Education Substitutions:

  • Associate's degree may substitute for two (2) years of required experience.
  • Bachelor's degree may substitute for four (4) years of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare supply chain or hospital environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock equipment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP platforms, or Epic.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead change while building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
