The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
The senior social worker in the Strong Ties Young Adult Program collaborates with the Strong Ties Social Work Clinical Coordinator and Strong Ties Program Director in the clinical operations of the Young Adult Clinic. The senior social worker is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of social workers and other multidisciplinary therapists in the Clinic. Additionally, the Senior Social Worker supervises the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist.
In addition to the supervisory role, the senior social worker also delivers culturally competent care to individuals ages 16 and older with mental illness. Services may include diagnostic assessment, individual and family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and community outreach for their assigned caseload. These services are provided through participation on an interdisciplinary team designed to deliver comprehensive community based psychiatric care.
