JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Sales Support team for Ezee Fiber's Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) sales organization. This role ensures sales representatives, leaders, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners receive timely and accurate support throughout the sales lifecycle, including onboarding, order management, commission support, reporting, lead management, and operational coordination.

 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment while driving continuous process improvements and maintaining a high standard of service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and develop the Sales Support team through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Establish daily priorities and workload distribution to meet service level expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team productivity and implement improvements where necessary.

Sales Operations Support

  • Oversee daily support activities for internal sales teams and BPO partners.
  • Ensure accurate processing of sales orders, customer information, and system updates.
  • Coordinate with Sales Leadership regarding escalations and operational issues.
  • Support new market launches, promotional rollouts, and operational initiatives.

Sales Administration

  • Manage sales documentation and operational procedures.
  • Ensure data accuracy across CRM, sales platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate onboarding support for new sales representatives and contractors.
  • Maintain sales support documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures.

Lead & Territory Management

  • Assist with lead assignments and territory distribution.
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure representatives have the appropriate lead inventory.
  • Monitor lead utilization and escalate performance concerns when appropriate.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce and analyze sales reports, productivity metrics, and operational dashboards.
  • Identify trends impacting sales performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Sales Leadership to improve reporting accuracy.

Commission & Incentive Support

  • Assist with commission validation and incentive tracking.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and Sales Leadership to resolve commission inquiries.
  • Verify promotional payouts and incentive eligibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care, IT, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Support implementation of new products, pricing, promotions, and sales initiatives.
  • Assist leadership with special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, sales procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and audit operational processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervise one or more employees.  Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 4+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, business operations, customer operations, or a related function.
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or people-management capacity preferred.
  • Experience supporting a high-volume sales organization, preferably within telecommunications, broadband, fiber, technology, or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with internal sales teams and/or third-party BPO partners preferred.
  • Experience with sales order processing, lead management, commissions/incentives, onboarding, and operational reporting strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills with the ability to develop and motivate a sales support team.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, including lead management, order processing, sales support workflows, commissions, incentives, and performance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, filtering, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience using CRM and sales management platforms; Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics, identify trends, and recommend operational improvements.
  • Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy across multiple systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with sales representatives, senior leadership, BPO partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, job aids, training materials, and sales support documentation.
  • Working knowledge of commission validation, incentive tracking, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Payroll, Marketing, IT, Business Intelligence, Customer Care, and Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee, compensation, and sales performance information.

Valid Driver’s License

The associate is regularly required to move around the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
