The RN Supervisor will function as Lead Nurse for Community Health and Family Medicine.
Develops and evaluates clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, and CCA) and participates in the evaluation of clerical staff. Coordinates with department leadership in the development and initiation of clinic specific policies, protocols, and critical pathways. Will work in collaboration with other health care providers and ancillary services. Supervises clinical staff and maintains mandatory regulatory institutional policy and procedures under the direction of department leadership.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Required: ASN (Preferred BSN)
Three years of ambulatory care or hospital RN experience.
Must have work experience that demonstrates abilities of leading and directing the work of others.
Prior supervisory experience or formal supervisory training preferred. Person should display initiative, have the ability to be multitasking and be able to take on responsibilities. Proven ability to problem-solve and be a team member is essential.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life support certification or obtained at first opportunity with employment.
