Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital
Responsibilities:
Oversees a portfolio of clinical trials and Research Nurse Coordinators in support of Principle Investigators' research endeavors within their assigned service line specialty.
Works with their Coordinators to support study procurement - including determining clinical, site and financial feasibility and identifies opportunities for growth and expansion of existing studies.
Supports the Clinical Research Manager by assisting with negotiating contracts and budgets with trial sponsors, external research agencies and investigators and prepares and assists with Administrative Review.
Facilitates Research Nurse Coordinator and Principle Investigator training, oversees good clinical practice for their sites, trial quality assurance and develops any related corrective action plans.
The Research Nurse Supervisor will also be trained as the study back-up for selected trials and occasionally act as lead during vacancies or when starting support for a new principle investigator.

Education & Experience
Required - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or any health sciences or life sciences degree and 3 years experience in Clinical Research
Or - Master's degree in in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or any health sciences or life sciences degree and 1 year experience in Clinical Research
Or - Associate's degree in Nursing or healthcare related and 7 years experience in Clinical Research
