    The Supervisor, Quality Control is responsible for leading activities related to in-process and finished product inspection, product release, and associated quality records (including Batch Records and Device History Records). This role provides direct leadership to a team of quality inspectors, ensuring timely product release, regulatory compliance, and effective identification and escalation of quality issues. The position plays a key role in maintaining product quality while supporting manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

    This position reports to the Senior Manager - Manufacturing Quality and is part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs organization located in Indianapolis, IN. This will be an on-site role.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Ensure all in-process and final product inspection activities are executed in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, sampling plans, and applicable requirements.
    • Review and approve inspection results and quality documentation to support disposition and release decisions for finished products
    • Ensure quality issues identified during inspection activities are appropriately documented, escalated, investigated, and resolved.
    • Own and continuously improve inspection procedures, work instructions, and visual standards using data, customer feedback, audit findings, process performance metrics, and employee feedback
    • Lead, coach, train, and develop quality inspection personnel, including performance management, staffing, training effectiveness, procedural compliance, and employee engagement activities

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    • High school degree
    • 8+ years' experience (or 5+ years with Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years with Master's degree) in Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Systems within regulated industries.
    • Excellent time management, organization skills and working with own initiative.
    • Effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

    • Travel is unexpected, but possible and estimated to be < 10% of the time, domestic and international. When necessary overnight travel may be required.
    • Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    • Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising personnel in a regulated manufacturing environment
    • Experience developing and executing inspection strategies using statistical sampling methodologies such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, ANSI/ASQ Z1.9, ISO 2859-1, or ISO 3951
    • Quality Engineering tools such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, Statistical Process Control, 5 why's, 8D, PFMEA, Design of Experiment, etc.
    • Oracle as an ERP, IQVIA as an eQMS, and/or VKS as an MES
