    We currently have an immediate opportunity for a QC Supervisor to join the POWDER DIVISION at our ANAHIEM, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Position Summary

    The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality control activities, supervising QC technicians, and ensuring laboratory testing and inspection activities comply with GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements. This role supports product release decisions, data integrity, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

    Essential Functions

    • Supervise, assign, and coordinate daily activities of Quality Control technicians and inspectors.
    • Ensure all testing, inspections, and sampling activities are performed in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
    • Review test results, laboratory records, and QC documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
    • Support product release, holds, investigations, and disposition activities in collaboration with QA.
    • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of laboratory equipment and instruments.
    • Monitor QC performance metrics and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
    • Provide real-time QC support to production and operations teams.

    Additional Duties

    • Train, coach, and develop QC staff to ensure competency and compliance.
    • Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
    • Participate in method improvements, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with QA, Operations, R&D, and Sanitation teams as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of quality control or laboratory experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
    • Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and laboratory quality systems.
    • Experience reviewing laboratory data and supporting investigations.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
