The Supervisor, Production is responsible for supervising manufacturing team members in an assembly environment. Production Supervisors are primarily responsible for ensuring continual improvement in their assigned areas related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost of refrigeration products.
This position will support Rheem North America, based in Scottsboro, AL.

High school diploma or equivalent. Higher level education highly preferred
5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
Supervisory experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exhibit a high level of diplomacy, tact, and leadership
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
HOW TO STAND OUT:
Associates degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience with Toyota Production System
Experience with Oracle ERP

Study production schedules and estimate manpower requirements to meet schedules.
Confer with management, engineering, and other staff members regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate the manufacturing processes.
Train and mentor team leaders on various job aspects including safety, quality, and operational duties.
Drive cost reduction and high performance using lean methodologies.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities including orientations, training, discipline, directing work, assessing work performance, coaching, developing, and motivating team members.
Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis.
Other duties as assigned
