    Accounting Supervisor – Client Services
    Location: Doylestown, PA (Hybrid)

    Position Summary
    The Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor – Client Services plays a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with oversight of financial reporting, client relationships, and junior team members.

    This role is ideal for someone with experience in public accounting or outsourced/client accounting environments who enjoys working with multiple clients and taking ownership of the accounting process from transaction review through financial statement preparation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client & Team Leadership
    Serve as a primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries
    Review accounting work performed by junior and senior team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
    Provide guidance and mentorship to staff accountants as needed
    Communicate directly with clients to address accounting questions and provide financial insights
    Coordinate internally with team members to ensure deadlines and client deliverables are met

    Accounting & Financial Reporting
    Oversee and participate in month-end and year-end close processes for client accounts
    Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
    Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports
    Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with accounting standards
    Assist clients with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting when needed

    Process Improvement & Client Support
    Evaluate client accounting processes and recommend improvements where appropriate
    Assist with onboarding new clients and reviewing the condition of their books
    Identify opportunities for efficiencies within internal accounting processes and client workflows

    Qualifications

    Education
    Bachelors degree in Accounting required

    Experience
    5+ years of progressive accounting experience
    Experience in public accounting or outsourced/fractional accounting environments strongly preferred
    Experience reviewing the work of others or serving in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred
    Experience managing multiple client accounts or working with multiple entities strongly preferred

    Technical Skills
    Proficiency in QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online
    Strong experience with financial statement preparation and month-end close
    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
    Experience with other accounting systems or ERP platforms is a plus

    Ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines
    Excellent communication skills for working directly with business owners and internal teams
    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    Ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities

    Work Environment
    Hybrid schedule with a combination of remote work and three days per week in the Doylestown, PA office
