    Program: Training and Consultation

    Description: The Training and Consultation (TaC) Program Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to the Training and Consultation (TaC) team at the Lincoln Intermediate Unit. The team is funded by IDEA Special Education Component 2B dollars and provides training and consultation in the areas of MTSS Academic, MTSS Behavior, Assistive Technology, Autism Support, Inclusive Practices/Least Restrictive Environment, Secondary Transition, Pathways 2 Graduation, Interagency Coordination and various research-based strategies and supports designed to meet the needs of struggling learners, as determined annually by PDE. The supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of the IDEA-funded TaC program and will be responsible for all appropriate planning, tracking, and reporting associated with the program. The supervisor will serve as a link between the Educational Services, Special Education, and Educational Technology Services teams at the LIU, and will be expected to participate in monthly Curriculum Council (CCRep) and Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) meetings. The supervisor will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating professional development opportunities that are provided internally at the LIU and externally to our LIU district partners.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in education, (REQUIRED)
    • Certification as Supervisor or Curriculum and Instruction K-12 or Principal K-12 Certification, (REQUIRED)
    • Successful classroom teaching experience or other relevant experience and training, (REQUIRED)
    • Experience in Central Office Leadership experience and curriculum and professional development, preferred.
    • Must have demonstrated ability in research/writing and effective use of digital technology.
    • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Must be highly organized; possess good communication skills; be highly confidential at all times; act as a team player; be flexible to work on multiple tasks; pay attention to detail; be able to learn new skills and deal with constant change.

    Terms of Employment: Full-time, 260 days/year (12 months FT)

    Salary: Act 93 contract; excellent benefits package
