    NOTICE OF POSITION

    POSITION:

    The Interim Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Ebony Prophet-Bullock, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

    Supervisor of State Reporting

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Candidates must hold a Master's degree and a valid New York State School Building Leader certificate (SBL), New York State School Administrator/Supervisor certificate(SAS), New York State School District Leader certificate (SDL), New York State School District Administrator certificate (SDA), or New York State Administrator Certification at time of application. It is required that candidates must attach a PDF or a screen shot of their certifications. It is required that candidates must have three years of combined and approved teaching or administrative experience. Experience in working with: external providers, multiple schools and systems, deadlines, and autonomously will be considered in evaluating each candidate's qualifications. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are also required for this position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Supervisor of State Reporting will report to the Director of Accountability and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Assist with State Reporting
    • Provide weekly checks of all Level 1 and 2 reports and submit corrections to Office of Accountability Leadership
    • Assist with managing and fulfilling District Data and FOIL requests
    • Work with the Special Education Department to ensure all Special Education data is accurate and reportable
    • Ensure that Charter/Private School Special Education reporting is accurate
    • Make corrections to historical data in the state system

    APPOINTMENT:

    Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, evaluation of service, program needs, and personal interview.
