We are seeking an experienced ICU Nursing Supervisor to lead and support our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team. Position Snapshot:
As the Nursing Supervisor for the CICU, you will provide leadership and oversight to a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. This unit specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, cardiomyopathy requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart failure, post-MI care, and complex interventions such as IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA management, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, you will oversee daily unit operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and support staff in achieving clinical excellence.

What You'll Do:
Oversee daily operations and nursing staff in the CICU
Support Charge Nurses, Relief Charge Nurses, and bedside staff
Ensure adherence to standards of nursing practice and patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Facilitate staff education, training, and professional growth
Participate in clinical decision-making for complex cardiac cases
Accurately document unit and patient care activities
What You'll Need:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)
California RN License (upon hire)
National Provider BLS (AHA) certification (upon hire)
2+ years recent ICU or specialty area clinical experience
Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Nursing
Previous formal leadership experience

Base Salary: USD $141,294 $223,100
