Supervisor-Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and operational activities across assigned teams.
• Ensure all work processes align with company procedures, operational guidelines, and industry standards.
• Plan and manage workflow and operational goals while maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor team performance and address operational challenges to maintain productivity.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain high operational and product quality standards through routine inspections and process monitoring.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives including Lean principles such as5S, Kaizen, and standardized work practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.

Resource & Inventory Management

• Manage workforce productivity, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization.
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, storage, material availability, tracking, and loss prevention.
• Ensure tools, materials, and resources are available to support operational needs.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance withOSHA regulationsand internal safety procedures.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and support incident investigations and safety improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong culture of safety awareness across the warehouse and operations team.

Team Leadership & Development

• Ensure employees have the necessary skills, certifications, and training for their assigned responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support employee development.
• Address performance issues when necessary while maintaining a positive and productive team environment.
• Maintain strong communication with leadership, internal teams, and operational partners.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and production workflows.
• Working knowledge ofLean operational principlesincluding 5S and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid analytical and administrative skills.
• Experience managing manpower allocation and operational productivity.
• Proficiency with modern technology including laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Knowledge ofOSHA safety regulationsand workplace safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inmanufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical construction environments.
• Certifications such asLean Manufacturing, OSHA 10, or warehouse/logistics certifications.
• Experience usingERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, materials, and tools. This role requires the ability towalk, stand, and supervise operations on the warehouse floor for extended periodswhile interacting with production teams and leadership.
