Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain and upkeep of facility, equipment and machinery within company policies.

Job Function:
  • Surveying facility and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety
  • Processing or performing maintenance of electrical systems on variety of equipment and machinery
  • Manage and Supervise all warehouse employees to assure all equipment operating per requirements
  • Performs employee reviews and reports any disciplinary action
  • Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems as needed and conduct repairs when
  • Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required by company policy and
  • Follow all company policies in regard to safety and operation of
  • Perform manual repairs, painting, plumbing, landscaping, carpentry, fix locks, replace windows, general upkeep
  • Assist in budget, purchase order, preparation or controlling expenses within guidelines and policies
  • Advise Plant operations of requited repair
  • Notify supervision of any inventory discrepancies
  • Perform other related duties or assignments and work additional and/or different hours as required
Required Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; Certificate in HVAC is preferred, building maintenance technology or relevant field a plus
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
  • Proven experience as maintenance technician, forklift certification
  • Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices. Problem-solving skills
