Job Summary:
Supervises daily activities for all laboratory technical, clerical, and assistant staff at Community Memorial Hospital. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of four years in clinical laboratory is required. Supervisor experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or a related field is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Post graduate training in management or in one or more technical areas of the laboratory is preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Medical Technologist certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent is required.
