Job Description and Duties
The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is recruiting a Supervisor I to function as the Executive Office Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee professional staff and direct the daily operations of the Executive Office and Ombudsman Portfolio. The Supervisor manages Executive Office workflows and communications, supports executive scheduling and meeting preparation, oversees planning and execution of high-level events, and leads the Ombudsman function by investigating complaints, mediating disputes, analyzing trends, and recommending organizational improvements. The role also evaluates and enhances processes to improve efficiency, accountability, and cross divisional coordination, with travel up to 10% as needed.

This position is presently headquartered at 11120 International Drive, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. This position may also be expected to report to the Downtown Sacramento location at 1102 Q Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.

The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC), is the principal state agency responsible for administering financial aid programs for students attending public and private universities, colleges, and vocational schools in California. The Executive Office provides policy and administrative support of Commission members and executive-level leadership and direction to the agency's Division Chiefs.
The Executive Office staff provide services across a broad range of activities to enhance organizational efficiencies and Ombudsman Portfolio responsibilities. The Executive team members guide the department's internal innovation, organizational development, and process improvement oversight.
