    Shift: Part Time

     

    As a House Supervisor at Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center, you'll serve as the clinical and operational leader for the hospital during your shift, ensuring exceptional patient care, efficient operations, and a safe environment for patients, visitors, and team members. Your leadership, sound clinical judgment, and ability to make critical decisions will be instrumental in supporting the care team and maintaining seamless hospital operations.

     

    In this role, you'll provide administrative and clinical oversight across multiple departments, coordinating patient flow, staffing, admissions, transfers, and bed placement while responding to changing patient care needs throughout the hospital. You'll serve as a resource for nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams by offering clinical guidance, resolving operational challenges, and supporting complex patient care situations.

     

    As the on-site nursing leader, you'll collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, and ancillary departments to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about supporting both patients and healthcare teams around the clock.

    What We're Looking For:
    • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - BSN/BA/BS, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years previous critical care nursing experience, required. Previous management experience, preferred.
    • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status. Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
    • Additional Skills (preferred): The House Supervisor will act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for all patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors.
