Job Description

Supervise daily operations of groundwater remediation and wastewater treatment systems. Lead field operators, technicians, subcontractors, and maintenance personnel across multiple project sites. Ensure treatment systems are operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting efforts, and equipment repairs. Monitor treatment system performance and recommend operational improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime. Coordinate sampling activities, reporting requirements, and regulatory inspections. Manage project schedules, labor utilization, inventory, procurement, and equipment resources. Maintain accurate operational records, safety documentation, and compliance reporting. Support project managers and senior leadership in achieving operational, financial, and client service objectives. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all company and site-specific health and safety requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 5+ years of experience operating and maintaining groundwater remediation, industrial wastewater, municipal wastewater, or water treatment systems. Previous experience in a supervisory, lead operator, superintendent, or foreman capacity. Strong understanding of treatment technologies including groundwater extraction and treatment (GWET), air stripping, filtration systems, chemical treatment, biological treatment, advanced oxidation processes (AOP), SVE, air sparging, and related environmental treatment systems. Demonstrated ability to lead field teams, coordinate resources, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience troubleshooting pumps, controls, instrumentation, treatment equipment, and process systems. Working knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance programs, and safety requirements. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred. N2 Wastewater Treatment Operator License (or equivalent regulatory certification) required. Additional wastewater, water treatment, or environmental operator certifications are considered a strong asset.
