    ASRC Federal NetCentric is hiring a Supervisor, Ground Transportation at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

    Job Summary:

    Supervise the Ground Transportation department.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the operation, coordination and scheduling of all personnel involved in roadblocks and oversize load transportation escorts.
    • Administrative duties including but not limited to work schedule assignments, overtime assignments, requisitioning, work order processing and filing, and mission support coordination.
    • Supervise and coordinate personnel involved with multiple shifts and scheduling overtime as needed.
    • Supervise the installation, manning, takedown, scheduling of all roadblocks and scheduling of personnel needed for all manning needed for escorts of oversize loads in support of vehicle movements on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Kennedy Space Center as directed by SLD45 Security Forces.

    Educational/Training Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree, Trade School and/or Military Security Forces Training preferred
    • 5 (five) or more years' experience of supervising 10+ personnel on multiple shifts. Previous supervisory experience, especially in a multiple shift environment, is highly desired.
    • Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office applications. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred.

    Skill Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Current valid FL Driver License.
    • Currently possess or be able to obtain a security clearance. US Citizenship required for obtaining a clearance.
    • Currently possess or be able to obtain Florida pilot/escort flagging course certificate, National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course Certificate or Commercial Driver's License Class A, B or C.

    Work Environment: Work environment includes office and field work. Must be capable of driving vehicles, visiting work sites with frequent walking and some climbing of ladders and structures.

    Physical Demands: Frequent walking, sitting and driving. Climbing of stairs in multi-story buildings that do not have elevators. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders & stairs in minimally accessible locations.
