Fiberglass / FRP Maintenance Supervisor – Industrial Repair

Location: Near Leland, NC | Regional Travel Required
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a hands-on Fiberglass / FRP Maintenance Supervisor to lead industrial fiberglass tank and pipe repair work. This role focuses on maintenance, repair, outages, shutdowns, and turnaround projects—not new construction.

The Supervisor will lead field crews, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on tight production schedules. This role is ideal for someone who understands the urgency of industrial downtime and thrives in fast-paced, service-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise fiberglass (FRP) tank and pipe repair in industrial plants
  • Lead crews during outages, shutdowns, and turnaround work
  • Coordinate labor and materials to meet strict customer timelines
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and workmanship
  • Travel to job sites and support extended or nontraditional schedules when required
Requirements
  • Experience supervising fiberglass or FRP repair in industrial environments
  • Required industry experience: chemical waste, incineration, refinery, or pulp & paper
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and outage work
  • Ability to lead crews in time-sensitive, high-pressure conditions
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends or holidays as business demands
Work Environment & Travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Frequent travel, including overnight stays (approximately 100 nights per year)
  • Most job sites are within 4 hours of Leland, NC

Why This Role Is Different

This is an industrial maintenance and repair role, not new construction. Success requires flexibility, urgency, and experience working where customer downtime is costly.

Apply today if you have FRP maintenance experience and enjoy leading crews in outage-driven industrial environments.  Email your resume to Sharon Deichmann at sdeichmann@theresource.com.
