    Under general direction by the Imaging Manager, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of Radiology, staff radiologists, and other members of the medical staff, the Supervisor Imaging Services is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the department and assists the Manager with those management functions for which the Manager is accountable. The Supervisor Imaging Services is technically and clinically competent in radiologic technology for all ages served: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Demonstrates and adheres to department standards and serves as an administrative and clinical resource for department staff. Clinical and technical responsibilities account worked hours as needed. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, the medical staff and all caregivers. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.

    • Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or

    • Upon hire: California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician or

    • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

    • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or

    • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

    • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

    • 3 years'' experience in an acute care/hospital radiology department.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced qualifications in at least one specialty imaging area.
    • Supervisory experience.

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
