    Description

    Safety-Kleen in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their safety conscious team! The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, in terms of optimizing, troubleshooting and performing corrective actions with the goal of maintaining optimum production.

    What does it take to work at (Company Name) ?

    • Ability to work with BOLs, Pick Tickets and Pallet Tags
    • Ability to generate BOLs, Pick Tickets and Pallet Tags.
    • Must be able to verify all outbound loads per DOT (Dept of transportation) regulations.
    • Forklift experience
    • Experience in a warehouse environment (MUST)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and acting in a safe manner always.
    • Manage and maintain safe work practices. (SOPs, JHAs and best industry standards).
    • Safely verify and inventory all inbound items.
    • Manage and implement house keeping processes.
    • Initiate all inventory counts: Year end full physical count and cycle counts (weekly) and trouble shoot any inventory discrepancies
    • Develop and cross train staff.
    • Organize daily tool box meetings
    • Run weekly safety meetings
    • Must have fork lift experience - as the supervisor will regularly be on the fork truck.
    • Must have extensive warehouse operations experience.
    • Sound understanding of inventory verbiage.
    • SKUs (Stock Keeping Units)
    • Cycle Count
    • UOM (Unit of Measure)
    • House keeping
    • FIFO
    • Pallet Tag
    • BOL
    • Pick Ticket
    • Positive attitude with moral building mindset.
    • Must explain, teach and train in a professional and patient manner.
