SUMMARY:
Functions as a primary point of contact for the Clinical Engineering Department. Supervises the repair and maintenance activities performed by Clinical Engineering staff. Provides on-site leadership for all components of the medial equipment management program. Participates in the development of departmental continuous quality improvement initiatives. Helps to ensure patient safety by supporting proper use, application and operational performance of patient care equipment. Acts as a technical resource for Clinical Engineering staff for repair and maintenance activities on select equipment and systems.
