Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor, Central Distribution - Full Time, Days - FIN-SPLY CHN-Central Service - Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for managing the deployed inventory in clinical locations using the PeopleSoft PAR Management System. Onsite responsibilities include, replenishment, par level management, cycle counts, verification of expiration, and working daily with unit management to load and unload new/old supplies. Responsibilities include inventory management for the Central Distribution Storage Room including replenishment and non-stock. Fulfilling PeopleSoft PAR or adhoc orders and preparing them for delivery daily to all units/locations 7 days a week including weekend and holidays to support the clinical function of the hospital. Ensures all orders are processed in a timely manner and with the constant awareness that the quality of the department's services have a direct impact on the institution's ability to provide excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
Packaging and labeling with destination. Stages orders for delivery to clinical units.
checks expiration dates for all refilled items. Completes manual inventory as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Current and valid NYS Drivers License. Communication skills (both oral and written) and customer service. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications especially Word and Excel. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials and or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
1- 2 years previous warehouse, materials, or inventory experience. 1 - 2 years Healthcare Supply Chain experience. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Inventory Management System and Pyxis Inventory Management System.
