Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:Prepares work schedule to expedite workflowHandles escalated issuesFollows up on requests from clients to implement new proceduresAssigns duties and examines work for accuracyAssist and provide input to manager with hiring and terminationResponsible for coaching, counseling, and/or corrective actions of staffResponsible for staff trainingAssist staff with job duties when neededMotivate staff and participate in departmental goalsCommunicate with client in absence of ManagerBalances all daily transactionCompletes weekly payrollCompletes daily, weekly, and monthly reportsPrepare monthly scheduleApprove and/or deny vacation requestsOther duties as assignedQualifications To Perform This Job Successfully, An Individual Must Be Able To Perform Each Essential Duty Satisfactorily. Education and/or ExperienceHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Possess at least three (3) years prior experience in the performance of cashiering functionsPossess at least two years previous supervisory/management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to manage and provide leadershipAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
