We are seeking an experienced Assurance Supervisor to join our growing assurance team. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys leading engagements, developing team members, building strong client relationships, and solving complex accounting and auditing matters. As an Assurance Supervisor, you will lead the planning and execution of multiple assurance engagements while helping ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with clients and engagement teams, applying your knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, internal controls, and risk assessment to deliver high-quality results. You will also play an important role in coaching and mentoring team members and identifying opportunities to improve processes, technology, and the overall client experience. What you will do: Lead Assurance Engagements - Lead the day-to-day planning and execution of assurance engagements.
- Establish clear engagement timelines, deliverables, responsibilities, and quality expectations.
- Design audit approaches based on assessed risks and evaluate internal controls.
- Review workpapers for accuracy, completeness, appropriate documentation, and compliance with professional standards.
- Review financial statements, disclosures, management letters, and engagement reports.
- Research and help resolve complex accounting and auditing matters using sound professional judgment.
- Manage multiple engagements while maintaining high standards for quality and client service.
Build Strong Client Relationships - Serve as a key day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
- Communicate proactively regarding engagement status, deadlines, risks, and emerging issues.
- Identify issues early and provide practical options and recommended solutions.
- Develop a strong understanding of each client's business and needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide meaningful recommendations that add value to clients.
Develop and Lead Team Members - Lead engagement teams and assign work based on individual capabilities and professional development goals.
- Review team members' work and provide timely, actionable feedback.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
- Provide on-the-job training related to audit methodology, technology, and professional standards.

Manage Engagement Performance - Manage engagement scope, budgets, timelines, work-in-process, billing, and overall engagement economics.
- Help ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget.
- Meet established utilization and billable-hour expectations.
- Support accurate time reporting and timely billing and collections.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and cross-serve additional services.
- Participate in proposals and other practice-development activities.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and standard workpapers while maintaining audit quality.
Leverage Technology & Innovation - Utilize audit platforms, collaboration tools, data analytics, and other firm technology to improve audit quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Use firm-approved AI-assisted tools in accordance with firm policies, ethical standards, and data privacy requirements.
- Maintain appropriate human review and professional accountability for final conclusions and work products.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving technology, templates, analytics, and audit methodology.
