    Description

    The Anesthesia Supervisor is a key team member who is responsible for ensuring customer and patient support and coordination for a smooth efficient case turnover cross-campus (First Hill and Cherry Hill). The Anesthesia Supervisor works as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a manager, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

    Required qualifications:

    • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • 3 years as an anesthesia technician in an operating room with demonstrated leadership skills and handling equipment.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Certificate of completion from an academic program, Anesthesia Technology A.A.S. degree.
    • Certified Anesthesia Technician - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians upon hire or
    • Certified Anesthesia Technologist - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians upon hire
    • Demonstrated experience in facilitating or coordinating in a complex environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in supervising in a complex environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in the development, education and precepting of caregivers in a highly technical and dynamic environment.

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
