Description
TheprimaryresponsibilitiesoftheManager, Accounting areto ensure the timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards,managetherevenuerecognitionprocess, perform detailed accountingresearchfortechnicalquestions/issuesastheyarise, and effectively lead staff. This position is also instrumental in coordinating the Company’s annual audit and ensuring proper internal controls over financial reporting are in place.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages month‐end close process including the accurate and timely recording of income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities on a monthly basis in accordance with IFRS requirements
- Reviews and approves journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepares monthly balance sheet and income statement trend analyses for management
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Ensure overall technical accounting compliance, including monitoring relevantIFRSandUSGAAPdevelopmentsto ensure accountingpolicies and procedures comply with currentstandards

- Provides and maintains excellent customer service to other departments and stakeholders
- Develop and/or improve existing policies, procedures, and controls
- Works with the Controller and Assistant Controller on various initiatives and completes other ad-hoc requests
