Superintendent - Wastewater Civil Construction

Top TN based GC is looking for a talented civil waste water construction superintendent to service the central and eastern Tennessee markets. This is an immediate need for a general contractor that has an excellent reputation in the construction market.

Client Details

GC with over 40 years of construction experience focused on commercial, industrial, water/wastewater, church, restoration, and custom home projects throughout Tennessee. It manages projects ranging from roughly $500,000 to $15 million and emphasises detailed project execution, quality workmanship, and hands-on client service from design through completion.

Description

• Direct daily construction activities at wastewater treatment plant project sites.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet project plans.
• Review site progress and address field issues that affect schedules or work quality.
• Read construction drawings and communicate work requirements to site teams.
• Monitor work practices and promote safe job-site conditions.
• Work with project teams to plan upcoming activities and site needs.
• Document daily site activity, progress, and project updates.

Profile

A successful WWTP Superintendent should have:

• Experience overseeing wastewater treatment plant construction activities.
• Ground up construction preferred.
• Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and construction schedules.
• Ability to read and apply construction drawings and project plans.
• Knowledge of job-site safety practices.
• Experience tracking daily work progress and site updates.
