Superintendent South Jersey

With a strong backlog of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they are seeking a motivated Junior Superintendent to join their field operations team. Our client is a well-respected General Contractor specializing in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and institutional construction projects throughout New Jersey.

Assist the Lead Superintendent with daily site operations.

Coordinate subcontractors and monitor field activities.

Help maintain project schedules and track progress.

Conduct daily site walkthroughs to ensure quality standards.

Enforce jobsite safety requirements and company policies.

Participate in subcontractor coordination meetings.

Track material deliveries and site logistics.

Assist with scheduling and sequencing of work activities.

Review drawings and identify potential field issues.

Document daily construction activities and site reports.

Coordinate inspections and punch list items.

Work closely with Project Managers and field staff.

Help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Support project closeout and turnover activities.

1-3 years of construction experience with a General Contractor.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Internship or full-time experience on commercial construction projects.

Strong interest in pursuing a Superintendent career path.

Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of construction safety practices.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with Procore is a plus.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.

Stable work history with demonstrated growth potential.

South Jersey project experience preferred.
