Established and Expanding general contractor is seeking a Superintendent to join its growing Greenville operation, a team roughly 50 construction professionals responsible for more than $120M in annual revenue. The Greenville office has built a strong reputation throughout Upstate South Carolina by delivering industrial, manufacturing, municipal, higher education, and community-focused projects while maintaining a highly relationship-driven business built on repeat clients and referrals.

This organization offers the entrepreneurial feel of a local office backed by the resources of a larger Southeast contractor. The Superintendent will step into a visible leadership role supporting a major industrial development program, work directly with experienced Project Managers and executive leadership, and have a clear path for advancement within an office that continues to expand its presence in the Greenville market.

Description

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through completion.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain project schedules and drive progress against key milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction operations on industrial and manufacturing projects ranging from $10M to $50M+.
• Support multiple projects within a large industrial development program.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site meetings and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Profile

• Previous Superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Strong background in industrial and manufacturing construction projects.
• Experience managing projects valued between $10M and $50M+ preferred.
• Large-scale commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or healthcare project experience considered.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Open to local candidates and qualified relocation candidates.
• Desire to grow within a highly respected and expanding construction organization.

Job Offer

• Base salary up to $160K
• Monthly vehicle allowance and gas card totaling approximately $1,200 per month.
