Job Description

Lead all on-site construction activities for municipal and public-sector projects. Manage daily field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within quality standards. Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. Enforce site safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture. Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve field issues to maintain project milestones. Conduct site meetings and communicate project progress with project teams and leadership. Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and local regulations. Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction. Foster strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

Experience serving as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
Prior experience managing municipal, public-sector, civic, educational, or similar institutional projects.
Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, quality control, and subcontractor management.
Ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple project stakeholders.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of delivering projects successfully in a Superintendent capacity.
Preferred Experience
Experience with CM at Risk (CMAR) delivery methods.
Background delivering town halls, public buildings, higher education, K-12, parks and recreation, fire stations, or similar civic projects.
Knowledge of Southeast construction markets.
