Superintendent of Safety & Security (New Haven)

Acts as CT transit’ s safety and training frontline leader in providing classroom and individualized performance coaching in safety and customer service and in managing supervisory tasks and special projects that achieve company goals, improve operator performance, and ensure safe, reliable, responsive service. The position supervises Bus Operators, Security Personnel and other employees and may be required to issue or recommend discipline as it relates to safety or security infractions.

Acts as CTtransit’s safety and training frontline leader in providing classroom and individualized performance coaching in safety and customer service and in managing supervisory tasks and special projects that achieve company goals, improve operator performance, and ensure safe, reliable, responsive service.
This position is directly accountable to the Director of Security and/or the AGM of Safety.  The position supervises Bus Operators, Security Personnel and other employees and may be required to issue or recommend discipline as it relates to safety or security infractions.
