Overview

Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects from site work through closeout. This hands-on role focuses on subcontractor management, scheduling, safety, quality, and project execution within a structured, repeatable construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up commercial projects from site clearing to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and daily field activities.
• Enforce safety, quality, and project standards.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, and JHAs.
• Develop and manage four-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Communicate project status, risks, and needs to project teams.
• Review plans and ensure work meets design requirements.
• Utilize established processes, checklists, and project controls.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Tilt-wall, tenant improvement, and general contractor experience.
• Ground-up project experience from site work through closeout.
• Strong subcontractor management and scheduling skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail, restaurant, medical, dental, or grocery projects.
• Bilingual communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grapevine, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $52.00/hr.
