Construction Superintendent

Join a growing construction team and take ownership of exciting commercial interior renovation and retail construction projects. We"re looking for a hands-on Superintendent who can lead field operations, manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, and deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

What You"ll Do

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Maintain project schedules and drive milestone completion
• Perform daily site walks, quality control inspections, and progress tracking
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across the jobsite
• Communicate project updates with project managers, clients, and key stakeholders
• Proactively resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward
• Manage punch lists, turnover, and project closeout activities

What We"re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Proven success managing interior renovations, retail build-outs, or tenant improvement projects
• Ability to independently run projects with minimal supervision
• Strong leadership, organizational, and subcontractor management skills
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and coordination
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid driver"s license

• Multi-site project management
• OSHA certification

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Hyde Park, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $48.00/hr.
