Superintendent

Our client is a growing commercial and institutional construction firm based in South Florida. As they continue to expand, they're looking for an organized, accountable, and proactive Superintendent to join their team.
Position Summary
The Superintendent will supervise commercial and institutional construction projects in the $1M to $5M range, overseeing daily field operations. Strong field coordination, subcontractor management, scheduling, quality control, and safety experience required. South Florida construction experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day field operations for commercial and institutional construction projects in the $1M to $5M range.
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors, ensuring work meets schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage field schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality control inspections.
- Enforce jobsite safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain daily logs, progress photos, and field documentation.
- Resolve field issues quickly and communicate proactively with the project team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising commercial and institutional construction projects in the $1M to $5M range.
- Strong field coordination and subcontractor management experience.
- Solid understanding of scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety practices.
- South Florida construction experience preferred.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, comfortable directing multiple trades on site.
- Organized, accountable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
