Superintendent - Light Industrial/Commercial Construction

The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership, safety, scheduling, quality control, and coordination of all field operations across light industrial and commercial projects.

Our client is a growing General Contractor specializing in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, tenant improvement, and commercial projects throughout the western suburbs of Chicago.

Description

• Lead daily site operations from groundbreaking through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety standards
• Monitor project quality and ensure contract compliance
• Manage site logistics and manpower planning
• Maintain project documentation and field reports
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and ownership teams

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience
• Background in light industrial, warehouse, commercial, or manufacturing construction
• Experience on projects ranging from $5M-$50M+
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling
• OSHA certification preferred
